Rosemary Martin, Group General Counsel and Company Secretary for Vodafone, Wins Legal Category Women in the City Award 2013

The Bar Council, which represents barristers in England and Wales, congratulates Rosemary Martin, Group General Counsel and Company Secretary for multinational telecommunications company, Vodafone, on winning the Legal Category for the Women in the City Awards 2013.
Rosemary's commitment to the promotion of women at all levels deeply impressed the judges, who praised her dedication to addressing gender imbalances in the workplace. Throughout her career, Rosemary has undertaken a wide range of initiatives which encourage and support female colleagues in their professional lives.
The Legal Category received a very high calibre of both barristers and solicitors nominees, all of whom were commended for their roles in supporting women in the legal sector.
