First pumpkin-carving competition in town ; In Brief [Hull Daily Mail (England)]
(Hull Daily Mail (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BEVERLEY: Beverley was due to host its first pumpkin-carving competition today.
The event, organised by design and marketing company Blue Canoe, is taking place in Saturday Market, from 9am to noon.
Those interested in taking part should bring their carved pumpkin to the Blue Canoe stall at Beverley Market, where entries will be judged by public vote.
There is an entry fee of Pounds 2 per pumpkin and all proceeds will go towards the Beverley Christmas Lights Appeal.
