The ranking of 2012 patient experience engagements looks primarily at the total number of healthcare providers, entities, and contracts, through a survey conducted by the publication. It also lists several other factors, including rank of participating patient satisfaction measurement firms, company names, headquarters, ownership type, total number of engagements, total number of clients, and largest client base. This is the second time that National Research has participated in the survey.
