HipLink Welcomes David R. Elliott to Its Board of Directors

HipLink Software, a leading provider of wireless messaging and notification solutions, today announced that David R. Elliott, retired executive of Technicolor, has joined the HipLink Software Board of Directors.

Mr. Elliott served as president of strategic relations at Technicolor Inc., where he was responsible for business development, including management of joint ventures and acquisitions, improvements and growing the customer base. He served as chief executive officer of Technicolor Digital Cinema LLC (TDC, a joint venture with Qualcomm), where he managed operations and strategic growth since its 2000 startup. He has been a key player in TDC's successful transition from initial startup in to a pioneering global provider of digital cinema distribution technology services, solutions and equipment for major studios and theatres worldwide.
Since joining Technicolor Inc. in 1991, Mr. Elliott has served in a variety of senior management positions. He served as president of Technicolor Exhibition Services where he guided the cinema distribution division. In addition to Technicolor Network Services and Technicolor Digital Cinema, he has held senior management positions where he was instrumental in the growth of a variety of key businesses that include The Bekins Company, Minstar, Kinark Corporation and The Continental Group.

Mr. Elliott served as CEO of Screenvision prior to retirement. He has served as the Chairman of the Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation and is a charter member of the Human Resources Roundtable (HAART), Graduate School of Business at UCLA. A Vietnam veteran, Mr. Elliott is a graduate of Michigan State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and has completed course work in the University's Masters Labor and Industrial Relations program. He resides in La Canada, Calif., with his wife Kathy, and has two children in the entertainment industry.
