KSE''s indices fluctuated in last week''s trading -- report [Kuwait News Agency]
(Kuwait News Agency Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) | KUWAIT, Nov 2 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) saw fluctuation in its major indices in last week's trading, a specialized economic report by Bayan Investment Company reported Saturday.
The report noted that the price index shifted between high and low as a result of high number of purchase operations that were done at the beginning of the week's trading, this upward movement of the bourse, then, started to dwindle as the week reached its end.
The weighted index, meanwhile, was at a low level throughout the week, whereas the KSX-15 index gained profit due to buying operations of shares in the banking sector.
In comparison to the bourse's 2012 performance, the report noted, that the price index recorded an increase of 33.91 points more than that of last year. The weighted index registered a rise of 11.9 points, while the KSX-15 gained 9.
