Three new picks from Acer [New Straits Time (Malaysia)]
(New Straits Time (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ACER Sales & Services Sdn Bhd has unveiled three new Android smartphones for the low and mid-range segment of the market. The Liquid Z3, Liquid E2 and Liquid S1, tagged at RM399, RM749 and RM1,299 respectively, come with MTK processors, dual-SIM design and microSD card slots.
The Acer Liquid Z3 is a lightweight at 120g, yet it offers a 3.5- inch HVGA screen. The HSDPA-enabled model comes with a customisable user interface with multiple mode. The Acer Liquid E2 comes with 4.5- inch qHD IPS touchscreen, 4GB ROM, 1GB RAM and 8MP AF rear camera with LED Flash. Both its rear and 2MP front camera come with Beautification Mode to aid users who love capturing selfies.
Acer's star product, the Liquid S1 has a 5.7-inch HD720 screen, 8GB ROM and 1GB RAM. Like the E2, the S1's 8MP AF camera also offers Beautification Mode. Another similar feature of both models is the Float Caller feature which allows users to accept, reject or respond to an incoming call via SMS while occupied on another app.
Acer is teaming up with Lazada Malaysia to offer an exclusive online deal for the three models for two weeks beginning Oct 21, 2013. Customers who buy the Liquid Z3, E2 and S1 through www.lazada.com.my stand to receive freebies while stocks last, and a discount of 15 per cent when using Maybank credit card.
