Samsung selects Marvell's quad-core communications processor for new smartphone

Marvell Technology Group Ltd., a semiconductor company, has announced that the Marvell ARMADA Mobile PXA1088 quad-core application and communications mobile system-on-chip powers Galaxy Win, new Samsung smartphone.
Samsung's high quality and cost effective Android smartphone, Galaxy Win, is designed for China Mobile's fast growing subscriber base, featuring China's 3G mobile standard, Time Division Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access (TD-SCDMA). To ensure its consumers have seamless connectivity and increased user capability, the Galaxy Win also has enabled support for multiple networks with Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS).
