intu selects PROACTIS Source-to-Contract software suite

Dec 03, 2013 (MarketLine via COMTEX) -- PROACTIS, a provider of spend control and eProcurement solutions, has announced that intu, a real estate investment trust, has chosen the PROACTIS Source-to-Contract software suite.

Selected as part of a procurement modernization program, the company expects the solution to help them reduce the cost of purchased goods and services while at the same time improving efficiencies and increasing transparency.

The Group is going through a procurement modernization program to provide world class service to its customers. After a rigorous selection process, PROACTIS was chosen to equip the group with better control and governance of strategic sourcing, contract management and supplier management processes and the tools that they need to optimize all aspects of procurement.

"intu will use PROACTIS Supplier Relationship Management to help build and maintain a strong supplier base by streamlining the entire supplier lifecycle - from supplier recruitment, through qualification, on-boarding, and performance appraisal - and PROACTIS Strategic Sourcing and Contract Management solutions to ensure maximum value and cost savings", said Richard Weavers, Technical Services Director at intu.

PROACTIS will be integrated to intu's financial system, UNIT4, and manage spend across multiple regions and centres. This allows for the creation of flexible procurement processes, better visibility of spend, enhanced operational efficiencies and inherent economies of scale that allow the organisation to benefit from the full power of its combined spend.

"PROACTIS is a leading provider of Spend Control and eProcurement systems with a growing list of clients in the property management and development sector," said Simon Dadswell, Marketing Director at PROACTIS. "We are thoroughly committed to helping our clients maintain a continual focus on all aspects of Spend Control and strive for the highest possible level of 'spend under management'. We are therefore of course delighted to be working with intu." http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
