John Elliott Joins Fireman's Fund Insurance Company as Chief Information OfficerNOVATO, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Fireman's Fund Insurance Company announces that John Elliott has joined the company as chief information officer. In this role, Elliott will be responsible for developing and implementing the technology strategy to achieve the company's business objectives. He will oversee the current IT teams in IT Enterprise Architecture, IT Infrastructure Services, IT Application Services, and IT Strategy and Special Projects. He will work closely with operations, Allianz Group partners, and business leaders. He will reside in Novato. Elliott has over 20 years of technology leadership and has worked as both a senior IT leader and as a technology consultant. Most recently, Elliott served as the senior vice president and chief information officer for Aon Risk Solutions, where he built their global technology organization. Before that, he was with Bear Stearns where he ran the global T Program Management Office and was the head of the Outsource and Offshore Program. He has also worked for McKinsey and Company, and was an active duty army officer for many years. Elliott holds a BS in Mathematics from West Point, a Masters in Mathematics from MIT (News - Alert), a Master of Computer Science from New York University Polytechnic, and a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
