Columbia Community Bank Changes Name to Premier Community Bank
(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) HILLSBORO, OR -- (Marketwired) -- 12/04/13 --
Columbia Commercial Bancorp (OTCBB: CLBC) announces that its subsidiary Columbia Community Bank has officially changed its name to Premier Community Bank.
"We're excited about this change. Our new name will help differentiate us from other financial institutions and businesses in the marketplace that use 'Columbia' as part of their name," said Rick A. Roby, Premier Community Bank's president and CEO. "It's important to emphasize that this change is in name only and that the bank is not being sold or merging with any other financial institution. We are still the same independent, locally owned, community bank that our valued clients have known and trusted for years."
The bank's leadership team, in conjunction with a branding partner, spent several months conducting extensive research and analysis to determine a new name that would reflect the bank's unique identity and value to the business community.
"We chose the name Premier Community Bank because it is distinctive and speaks to the type of services we offer our clients," Roby added. "And the word 'community' is still our middle name because it reflects our personal connection with the communities where we conduct business."
