BRIEF: Local Rabobank official to lead bank's Community Leadership Group [The Tribune (San Luis Obispo, Calif.)](Tribune (San Luis Obispo, CA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Dec. 05--Steven Harding has been named chairman of Rabobank N.A.'s Community Leadership Group, a new unit that's responsible for developing and implementing new, top standards in community banking statewide. He had been responsible for the bank's business operations in the Central Coast area. "Steve epitomizes community banking," said John Ryan, Rabobank chief executive officer, in a news release. "Through his achievements on the Central Coast, he knows that great banks become relevant and play vital roles in their communities by adapting to local needs and delivering on them." Harding, who will remain in Arroyo Grande, will work with and mentor Rabobank leaders statewide to develop the Community Leadership Group framework, including community-banking objectives, organizational structure, and committee appointments and locations.
