  • Nearly 5,000 health care professionals from around the world will gather to launch the next 25 years of health care quality improvement at a time of unprecedented need and opportunity for transformation.

Berwick, MD, MPP, President Emeritus and Senior Fellow, IHI; Erik Weihenmayer, World-class blind adventurer; and Nancy Snyderman, MD, Chief Medical Editor, NBC News, who will be interviewing Lindsay Beck, her patient and a two-time cancer survivor.
  • More than 300 Quality Improvement Storyboards on display, demonstrating organizations' improvement journeys and showcasing the approaches, results, challenges, and lessons learned from nearly every corner of the health care improvement world.
  • Scientific Symposium (Monday, December 9), featuring the very best work in the science of health and health care improvement, with keynote speakers, rapid-fire presentations of peer-reviewed papers, interactive learning sessions, and networking opportunities.
