Compass Learning Names Lynelle Morgenthaler Vice President, Content Development


AUSTIN, Texas --(Business Wire)--

Compass (News - Alert) Learning, an Austin-based provider of personalized learning solutions that drive student success, has named Lynelle Morgenthaler as vice president, content development.

Lynelle Morgenthaler comes to Compass Learning from Q2A/Bill Smith, a creative resource partner for educational publishers, where she was most recently an executive vice president in charge of digital and print content. She brings to Compass Learning more than 25 years of experience across all types of educational publishing, including core, alternative core, and supplemental products.

In addition to her experience at Q2A/Bill Smith, Ms. Morgenthaler served in a number of roles at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, most recently as vice president of product development for Harcourt Achieve. Other roles include editorial director and executive editor for Harcourt's English Language Learner program. Prior to that, she worked at a variety of different publishers, as an elementary teacher, and as a college-leel instructor.



Ms. Morgenthaler earned an M.A. in Education and Linguistics from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. with Honors in Linguistics from Swarthmore College.
