China Telecom to Conduct 4G Network Trial in Over 40 Cities(Sinocast Telecommunications Beat (China) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BEIJING, December 12, SinoCast -- China Telecom has been approved to conduct 4G network trial in over 40 cities across China, said a senior official of China Telecom today. The preliminary stage of China Telecom's 4G network construction in these cities will cover more some important regions, such as central areas in the cities, scenic spots and metros. According to preliminary planning of China Telecom, it will invest approximately CNY 55 billion in 4G network in the next two years. In 2013, China Telecom has already planned and implemented CNY 10 billion for the construction of 4G network. Besides the network construction, China Telecom now has already started work in 4G terminal construction. |
