Almoayyed Motors rolls out new Lincoln model [Gulf Daily News (Bahrain)]

(Gulf Daily News (Bahrain) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MANAMA: The all-new Lincoln MKZ made its Bahrain debut at a special event hosted by Almoayyed Motors, the local Ford and Lincoln importer-dealer.

The first vehicle from the dedicated Lincoln Design Studio, the MKZ signifies the introduction of the reinvented Lincoln brand, which will focus on attracting a new body of premium automotive customers.

It is positioned in the midsize luxury segment.

"The all-new Lincoln MKZ represents the future of Lincoln in both style and substance, featuring stunning design wrapped around intuitive, purposeful technology," said Ford Middle East marketing director Paul Anderson.

"It is proof of our commitment to deliver a new breed of Lincolns for a new generation of Lincoln clients - vehicles that are distinctive, elegant, full of technology and a delight to own." Almoayyed Motors general manager Sandeep Mathur said the all-new MKZ marked a new Lincoln era for customers in Bahrain.

"We are confident that this new model will set the benchmark and standards of what luxury customers can expect from Lincoln moving forward.

"Our intention is to bring a whole new ownership experience to Lincoln owners, starting with unique features and technologies that elevate the driving experience, as well as sales and service experiences that promise to put them in a league of their own as Lincoln customers," added Mr Mathur.

Key features include: a sweeping profile, one of the world's widest-opening retractable glass roofs; Lincoln drive control intelligent system that delivers a refined ride and engaging driving dynamics; a push button shift gear selector that enables flowing and architectural centre console design; a quiet, well-appointed interior enhanced by standard active noise control, genuine wood trim, full LCD instrumentation, and SYNC with MyLincoln Touch and class-exclusive inflatable rear safety belts supplementing eight standard airbags. Lincoln is in the process of introducing four new vehicles in the next four years.
