AdvanIDe Expands European and Scandinavian Presence with Prague Office Opening

AdvanIDe, the leading independent provider of semiconductors for the smart card and RFID industry, today announced it has established an office in Prague, Czech Republic, that will provide the company with a hub for delivering operations services and field application support to customers in central and eastern Europe and Scandinavia.

AdvanIDe's new Prague office will operate under the leadership of Roman Kmonicek, sales manager for Central and Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. A security industry veteran with extensive experience and active trade association contributions in the government ID and financial document sectors, Kmonicek was most recently sales director for strategic projects at authentication solution leader Optaglio.

AdvanIDe now has 11 sales offices, worldwide, including two offices in China (Beijing and Shenzhen), as well as Brazil, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and the U.S. The Prague office is ideally situated to provide dedicated regional support to customers who want the most efficient access possible to the latest semiconductor components for RFID transponders, chip cards and RFID readers and terminals. Products include bare silicon chips, smart card modules and RFID reader ICs.
