Croatia's Jan-Sep mobile traffic up 25% y/y, fixed-line down 17.7% y/y [IntelliNews - Weekly Reports]


(IntelliNews - Weekly Reports Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The mobile phone talktime in Croatia rose 25% y/y in the first nine months of 2013, while the fixed-line decreased 17.7% y/y, the country's statistics office said.

The minutes spent in the mobile network amounted to 6.4 billion in Jan-Sep 2013, while the minutes spent in fixed-line network amounted to 2.4 billion.  The total number of SMS messages sent over the period rose 9.6% y/y to 2.6 billion, while the number of MMS messages increased 2.3% y/y to 17.7 billion.



Broadband internet data traffic in the review period climbed 39.2% y/y to 239 million GB.
