Sloan, Bagley, Hatcher & Perry Associate J. Ryan Fowler Joins the American Board of Trial Advocates
HOUSTON --(Business Wire)--
Ryan Fowler, lead attorney for Sloan,
Bagley, Hatcher & Perry Law Firm's Houston office, has been
nominated and elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
Membership to ABOTA is by invitation only. Any trial lawyer who is of
high personal character and honorable reputation, a member of the Bar,
and who has met the additional qualifications as prescribed in ABOTA's
Constitution, may become a member upon nomination and election.
ABOTA's mission is to preserve the right to trial by jury as defined by
the Seventh Amendment of the Bill of Rights and educating the public to
what that right means. Thomas Jefferson was of the opinion that the
right to trial by a jury of fellow citizens was a more important
safeguard of personal liberty than the right to vote.
"It is an honor to be recognized by my peer group in an organization
whose members are among the top trial lawyes in the country," said
Fowler. "I'm extremely proud to represent my firm as well as join my
colleagues, John Sloan and Glenn Perry, who are also members of ABOTA."
Fowler is looking forward to leveraging the subject matter expertise and
mentoring available from fellow ABOTA members not only for his
professional growth but also to best support the firm's clients as cases
are prepared for lawsuits. In time, he hopes that he will be an
effective mentor for future members.
"We are extremely proud of Ryan and the excellent record he has already
established," said the Sloan Firm founding partner, John Sloan. "He is
passionate in working for our clients. He cares deeply and counts many
past clients as friends."
