Clark Named Norton Rose Fulbright's US Head of Employment & Labor

HOUSTON --(Business Wire)--

A proven leader at Norton Rose Fulbright has been chosen to guide its employment and labor practice in the United States. Shauna Johnson Clark, who has served as the Partner-in-Charge of the Houston office for nearly three years, is the new US Head of Employment & Labor, succeeding longtime leader Brian Greig.

Clark, a nationally known lawyer whom The Network Journal this past year named "One of 25 Influential Black Women in Business," said:

"With our expanded global reach, this is an exciting time for Norton Rose Fulbright and our clients. I look forward to leading our talented employment and labor team in the US. Brian has grown it into a nationally recognized practice, and I am eager to build on that momentum."

Named one of Profiles in Diversity Journal's "Women Worth Watching" earlier this year, Clark is a trusted advisor in labor and employment law to clients in a wide range of industries, including energy, healthcare, retail and banking. She has been certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for Labor and Employment Law for more than 10 years.

Recognized each of the last six years by Chambers USA, Texas "Super Lawyers" and Best Lawyers in America, Clark offers services to employers ranging from preventive advice and training to aggressive litigation when a setlement cannot be reached. She has led teams in jury, bench and administrative trials under employment law statutes, including class and collective actions under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Linda Addison, Managing Partner of Norton Rose Fulbright's US member firm, said:

"We appreciate Brian Greig's commitment to making Norton Rose Fulbright a leader in employment and labor law and positioning us well for the future. Shauna shares Brian's approach of putting our clients' needs first and foremost, and we are confident that continued success lies ahead."

Clark received her JD from Tulane Law School and her BA in Political Science from Louisiana State University. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the United Way and Baylor College of Medicine.
