One Heart - The TRIMED Foundation and Trinity Medical Pharmacy joined forces December 7 at Grille 116 for a Holiday Party with a Purpose benefiting HeartBeat International

TAMPA BAY, Fla. --(Business Wire)--

While Santa stays busy at the mall, another set of holiday elves were spreading good cheer at Grille 116 in Tampa. For their Annual Party with a Purpose, the TRIMED Foundation and Trinity Medical Pharmacy celebrated the holidays by saving lives, raising funds for children and adults in need of lifesaving pacemaker and ICD operations.

"In keeping with our Patient Power mission, the TRIMED Foundation works hard to ensure care is accesible to everyone who needs it," said Jodi Hoover, TRIMED Foundation Director. "The mission of HeartBeat International - that no one should die as a result of needing a lifesaving pacemaker device and cannot afford it - directly aligns with that, making them a natural partner."

Founded in 1984, HeartBeat International Foundation (HBI) currently has a global footprint of 15 countries and has saved more than 11,000 lives in over 25 countries across the globe. In addition to providing cardiac devices and all related professional and medical services by doctors and hospitals at no charge to patients in need globally, HBI develops and provides continuing education programs for healthcare professionals- and education and prevention programs for the general population through their strategic alliances.
