Community Bank Gives Back This Holiday Season

PASADENA, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

Community Bank has continued its tradition of giving back to the community this holiday season. Through donations to Southern California organizations that provide meals and assistance to those less fortunate in local communities Community Bank will help feed an anticipated 20,000 people in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Ventura, Riverside and Orange (News - Alert) Counties.

Employees of Community Bank also get into the holiday spirit by volunteering at each of the organizations. These volunteers pitch in wherever help is needed. From decorating for the holidays or helping with a holiday party to prepping a meal or serving the Mission's guests, Community Bank employees offered a wide variety of help throughout the holiday season.

"Each year we partner with organizations to help those less fortunate in the communities we serve. This year we partnered with eight organizations that are a source of hope and a model of service for all of us. In addition to a monetary donation to each organization, Community Bank employees volunteered doing everything from meal prep and service to sorting donated clothing to helping decorate for the holidays and helping with the community holiday party. I am proud to be able to give back to our community and proud of the employees who took time from their busy schedules to help others and display the true meaning of the holidays," said David R. Misch, President and Chief Executive Officer (Interim).

The eight organizations included in this year's holiday program were Ventura County Rescue Mission in Oxnard, Foothill Family Shelter in Upland, Los Angeles Mission, Union Station Homeless Services in Pasadena, Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission in Sun Valley, Burbank Temporary Aid Center, Someone Cares Soup Kitchen in Costa Mesa and Family Service Association of Redlands.
