The New Review: Agenda: INTERNET: Twitter gets facial recognition

(Observer (UK) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Some people have the good fortune of seeing the Virgin Mary on their toasted sandwich and then selling it on eBay for thousands of pounds. For the rest of us, who aren't quite so lucky and see merely anonymous faces in everyday things, the new - and brilliant - Twitter account Faces in Things (@FacesPics), which began on 10 November and has already more than 300,000 followers, has turned this simple pleasure into a jolly and popular phenomenon.
