Industry Analyst Jeff Kagan on xG Technology Building Sales and Customer Service Teams

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) December 22, 2013 xG Technology from Sarasota Florida says in a Dec. 4 press release, new hires will facilitate the capture of new market opportunities and ensure delivery of world class customer service support to xMax Congnitive Radio customers.

Technology analyst Jeff Kagan offers comment.

“It looks like xG Technology with their xMax Cognitive Radio may finally be ready for prime time,” says Tech analyst Jeff Kagan.

“I visited with xG Technology several years ago. At that time they had an exciting idea, and the marketplace was screeming for wireless broadband solutions. xMax was one of these potential solutions. The problem was, at that early stage they were not ready for prime time according to my demo. It was a good idea, but was too early. Now however it appears that xG Technology with their xMax Cognitive Radio is hitting on all cylinders and they are now building their sales and customer service teams,” says Principal analyst Jeff Kagan.

They are a developer of wireless communications and spectrum sharing technologies. They say that they have hired six sales and customer service executives. They also say, building sales and customer service capabilities is a key element in xG’s growth strategy as it ramps up volume production and delivery of xMax cognitive radio networks.

They are a fixed and mobile broadband solution that is designed for rapid deployment and low operating costs. They offer carrier grade user experience and can serve as a network backbone or last mile solution. They offer this service to networks and companies.

“I am by no means saying how successful xG will be. Not yet anyway. It has been a while since I have taken a close look. When I do once again, I will share what I have learned,” says Wireless analyst Kagan.

“However what I sense is a company who has been learning over the last few years and has been positioning themselves as a viable competitive alternative in the marketplace,” says Kagan.
