The ACN Reviews Are In: Direct Selling Powerhouse's Events Provide Best-of-Best Training While Leaving Lasting Impression on Host Cities

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Concord, North Carolina (PRWEB) December 23, 2013 ACN Inc, the world’s largest direct seller of telecommunications, energy and other essential services hosted its International Training Event in San Jose, California, December 6-8, and what would be the final celebration of the company’s 20th Anniversary year. The event drew tens of thousands of Independent Business Owners from many of the company’s 23 countries for three days of training, motivation and networking opportunities, as well as featured special guests multi-billionaire Donald J. Trump and Publisher of SUCCESS Magazine Darren Hardy.

But the impact of this event left an even greater impact on the city of San Jose and surrounding areas. With hotels and restaurants packed, city officials estimate ACN events bring millions into the local economy in just three days time.

And while impacting the local economy is certainly icing on the cake for this company, it’s the children and the clown that are the heart and soul of ACN.

During the San Jose event, and at each of ACN’s events worldwide, the company collects donations for the local chapter of the Ronald McDonald House and then matches those donations dollar for dollar, presenting a check at the close of the event.

“At ACN, giving back is all part of who we are – it’s in our DNA,” said ACN Vice President and Co-Founder Robert Stevanovski “We believe that we have a corporate responsibility to leave these communities a little better off than when we arrived.” The San Jose event provided an opportunity for ACN to have double the impact, as they raised funds for the Ronald McDonald Houses of Stanford and San Francisco. On Sunday, December 8, just as the event was coming to a close, ACN presented a check to the Houses in the amount of $101,592.34.

“Because of ACN’s generosity, the 47 families that we host at the Stanford house each night will feel a lot more love,” said Annette Eros, CEO of the Ronald McDonald House at Stanford.

ACN’s next large-scale event will be held in Charlotte, NC, February 14-16.
