ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 25 -- Comcast Cable Holdings, Philadelphia, has been assigned a patent (8,615,648) developed by Manoj K. Chaudhari, Dayton, N.J., and Richard M. Woundy, North Reading, Mass., for a "method and system for booting, provisioning and activating hardware and software clients."
