AFFINITY GAMING FILES (8-K) Disclosing Other Events(Edgar Glimpses Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Item 8.01 Other Events. On December 20, 2013, we issued a press release which was widely distributed via a paid newswire service to media outlets across the United States, including major magazines, newspapers, television, radio and news services in every state, and to more than 5,000 Web sites, databases and online services, notifying our customers of data security breaches, including one which occurred in the system which processes credit card and debit card transactions, which occurred at our properties. The press release, which we also posted on our website at www.affinitygaming.com, encouraged our customers to take steps to protect their identities and financial information, and provided them with a confidential, toll-free hotline for assistance.
