NetX on why HTWP calls it quits [New Straits Time (Malaysia)](New Straits Time (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) KUALA LUMPUR: NetX Holdings Bhd, formerly known as Ariantec Global, has clarified that Hasnan THL Wong & Partners (HTWP) has tendered its resignation as the company's external auditors due to the reason stated in its statement to Bursa Malaysia on December 17. "HTWP has tendered its resignation as the auditors of the company for the financial period ending June 30 2014 via its letter on December 16 2013, due to HTWP having no intention to renew its registration as an auditor of a public interest entity with the audit oversight board," the company said. NetX said the new auditors will be nominated by the board of directors to replace HTWP in an extraordinary general meeting, which will be convened later.
