Sprint Spectrum Assigned Patent(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) By Targeted News Service ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 30 -- Sprint Spectrum, Overland Park, Kan., has been assigned a patent (8,614,973) developed by four co-inventors for a "method and system for providing wireless service according to multiple wireless-communication protocols on a single radio-frequency (RF) carrier." The co-inventors are Ryan S. Talley, Overland Park, Kan., Bryan T. Barbee, Olathe, Kan., Timothy W. Sill, Platte City, Mo., and Christopher M. Yenney, Ashburn, Va. The patent application was filed on Sept. 22, 2011 (13/239,764).
