Morning Star Financial Services Reports 99% Satisfaction Rate on First Annual Survey

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. --(Business Wire)--

Representatives of Morning Star Financial Services announced the results of their first annual Satisfaction Survey for those served in Tennessee. The survey reported that 99% of respondents were "satisfied" or "very satisfied" with the organization's overall quality of service. Morning Star is currently Tennessee's financial management service and support brokerage provider for the Self Determination Waiver, one of the state's participant directed Medicaid programs. The organization began providing those services for Tennessee participants in October of 2012.

"We've worked very hard to provide a high quality of service for those we serve in Tennessee and the survey results show we've been diligent in our efforts," said Cheryl Vennerstrom, COO of Morning Star. "Although we're pleased with the report, we're even more interested in the areas where we can continue to improve on a daily basis. Striving for 100% satisfaction in everything we do is what makes Morning Star a true leader in its industry."

The annual Satisfaction Survey results were collated from 173 responses among Tennessee residents served by Morning Star. The survey reported more than 98% were satisfied in every key area polled including staff responsiveness, knowledge and helpfulness, timeliness of payments and reports, and Morning Star support. In addition more than 99% of respondents were satisfied with the overall quality of service provided by Morning Star.

In the spring of 2013 Morning Star was named the sole financial intermediary for the state of Ohio and operates similar programs for those with disabilities and the elderly in Utah, Oklahoma and in Minnesota via its related company Orion ISO. This fall the organization was named the seventh fastest growing privately held company in Minnesota with a three-year growth rate of 220%.

"Continuous improvement is critical for our organization to provide the highest quality of service possible," said Dr. Rebecca Thomley, President of Morning Star Financial Services.
