Seelan is MPTN's new COO [Business Times (Malaysia)](Business Times (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) KUALA LUMPUR: Media Prima Bhd, Malaysia's largest integrated media group, yesterday announced the appointment of Seelan Paul as Media Prima Television Networks (MPTN) chief operating officer (COO) effective tomorrow. As COO, he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the four television stations and other operating units under MPTN. He reports to the MPTN group chief executive officer Ahmad Izham Omar. "Seelan is an experienced and talented member of Media Prima with a strong track record of building successful media businesses and delivering solid results," said Ahmad Izham. "He shares our values and places the same strong emphasis as we do on delivering quality content to our viewers. We are confident that he will contribute immensely in delivering operational efficiency and bringing new levels of creative success to the team."
