LightDrop and ZERO68 in conjunction with Solidified, Inc., Launch DIVI, a New Pill Dispenser [Health & Beauty Close - Up]

(Health & Beauty Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) LightDrop and ZERO68 announced that they are launching a crowdsourcing campaign to fund the next step in the development and public release of DIVI.

According to a release, this new device combines the practical functionality of a pill dispenser with the communication power of the modern smartphone. By seeking added funding through Indiegogo, DIVI expects to speed the process of bringing this essential new technology to patients who need it most.

Individuals who contribute to the DIVI campaign on Indiegogo can receive valuable rewards for their support, including: -Contributors have the option to donate a DIVI device for medical research plus receive a tax deduction or receive a DIVI device for themselves, a friend or loved one.

-Medical professionals can opt to incorporate DIVI technology into their practices and to receive alerts/data reports regarding patient adherence to dosage regimens. This allows caregivers to maintain the health of their charges more effectively and to identify areas of potential concern in the management of chronic diseases.

The Indiegogo campaign will allow members of the public to take an active role in bringing this product to the retail marketplace. The DIVI pill dispenser offers a number of features designed specifically to help patients and caregivers manage the challenges of dosage requirements and regular medication regimens: -Each cartridge can be preloaded with up to a full week of medication and can distribute up to 10 pills each time it is used.

-Patients, caregivers or pharmacists can load the cartridge for optimal "Load & Go" versatility.

-The DIVI Sync feature delivers information about dosing, missed medications and pill supplies to smartphones. This allows caregivers, patients and physicians to track adherence to established treatment plans.

-Reporting features compile dosing records and provide information in real time for immediate intervention when required.
