SchoolDude & NBOA Launch First-Ever Independent School Technology Survey
CARY, N.C. & WASHINGTON --(Business Wire)--
Today, SchoolDude and the National Business Officers Association (NBOA)
launched a survey to benchmark the state of technology at independent
schools. This will be the first-ever comprehensive research study to
evaluate the technology staffing, budget, priorities and challenges
amongst independent schools. In addition, NBOA and SchoolDude will
measure technology trends, including BYOD adoption, 1:1 computing,
bandwidth, infrastructure, and technology management.
"The technology needs of independent schools are growing more and more
complex every day. It's critical for business officers, technology
directors and other independent school leaders to identify the best
technological resources to support their school's mission within their
financial resources. NBOA is pleased to partner with SchoolDude to help
provide schools with much needed data to help inform these
decision-making processes," said Jeff Shields, President and CEO of NBOA.
"The technology landscape is changing rapidly and surveying these key
decision makers will help provide independent schools will data to make
informed decisions for the future," sai Nick Mirisis, Director of
Marketing & Business Development for SchoolDude.
The survey will remain open until January 31, 2014. The survey results
will be released at the NBOA Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL, held from
March 2 to March 5, 2014.
