Join the MOO Year's Revolution: MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes Creates Interactive Campaign to Promote Iceburgers in New Year

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Dallas (PRWEB) January 03, 2014 MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, a fast-casual, “better burger” chain, is starting off the New Year by putting a fresh spin on the ubiquitous resolution. Through an engaging in-restaurant, digital and social media marketing campaign, the brand is encouraging Guests to join the “MOO Year’s Revolution” by eating Iceburgers, a lower-calorie way to enjoy their favorite burger. Guests can make any burger an Iceburger by opting for a gluten-friendly iceberg lettuce bun instead of a fresh-baked white or wheat bread bun.

“January is a time of fresh starts and new goals,” said Natalie Anderson, Senior Brand Manager at MOOYAH. “Our Iceburgers are a revolutionary way to enjoy MOOYAH while making smart choices.” From December 30, 2013 to February 2, 2014, MOOYAH fans are encouraged to go to MOOYAH.com/ice to join the MOO Year’s Revolution by following three steps. Step one provides a way for fans to Break the Ice on making smarter choices with a link to a free Iceburger coupon. Step two asks fans to recruit others to the Revolution through an Ice a Friend Facebook application. The Facebook component will reward the participant with a $1 Off Any Iceburger coupon when they share a Buy One Iceburger, Get One coupon with friends. Step three offers a sweepstakes where one lucky Iceburger fan can keep the revolution going long after February 2nd with a prize of Free MOOYAH for a Year.

“Successful revolutions and resolutions have one thing in common: they both start with an action that gains groundswell when people talk about it and get friends and family involved. MOOYAH.com/ice provides a rewarding way for the MOO Year’s Revolution to grow, allowing more people to enjoy our unique, lower-calorie Iceburgers,” said Anderson.

Beef, turkey and veggie Iceburgers are offered at all locations. Guests can add sweet potato fries and a Coke ZeroTM or Diet Coke® to several Iceburgers and have a meal under 600 calories. Those include the Turkey Iceburger Meal for 549 calories (turkey Iceburger, BBQ sauce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, small sweet potato fries, Coke ZeroTM); Veggie Iceburger Meal for 519 calories (veggie Iceburger, avocado, mustard, tomatoes, pickles, onions, small sweet potato fries, Diet Coke®); and the Turkey Iceburger Meal for 568 calories (turkey Iceburger, avocado, Swiss cheese, bacon, tomatoes, pickles, onions, Diet Coke®).

The brand will promote the campaign socially, with a large drive on Facebook and Twitter, as well as support from Instagram and Pinterest. In-restaurant, MOOYAH will distribute Iceburger frequency stamp cards that reward Guests with free drinks, sweet potato fries and Iceburgers.

“At MOOYAH, we focus on building the perfect burger to fit every Guest’s craving. Some people may think they have to give up their favorite food to keep their resolution. We wanted to challenge that mentality by showcasing the lower calorie counts in our Iceburgers,” said Anderson. “Many of our competitors don’t offer this option so we’re even more excited to be the brand bringing these delicious burgers to consumers.” In addition to its social media, digital and mobile marketing campaign, MOOYAH will promote the MOO Year’s Revolution through a spokesman, Ice Burgman. The sassy, animated guru will be featured on social platforms and will inspire fans to participate in the MOO Year’s Revolution and try Iceburgers at MOOYAH.

At MOOYAH, customization is king. Guests start by choosing a protein from a never-frozen 100 percent American beef patty, Jennie-O turkey patty or a black-bean veggie patty. Guests have the advantage of choosing from a fresh iceberg lettuce bun, or white and wheat buns that are baked in-house daily. Each gourmet burger creation comes with a selection of unlimited veggies and a choice of 10 delicious sauces.

MOOYAH French fries come together in a six-step process that takes a total of 24 hours to completely prepare. A delightful combination of constant attention and a little magic help transform U.S. #1 Idaho potatoes into perfect, crisp-on-the-outside and fluffy-on-the-inside fries. MOOYAH’s lower-calorie sweet potato fries are perfectly seasoned with a delicious blend of spices unique to MOOYAH. Never one to forget dessert, MOOYAH offers handcrafted shakes, allowing Guests to choose from classic flavors like vanilla and chocolate, or opt to make their own creations with toppings such as cookie dough, peanut butter cups and more.
