THX's Sandra Benedetto is Honored by Women in CE 2014 Legacy Awards


SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)--

THX Ltd. is pleased to announce that Sandra Benedetto, Director of Product Management at THX, has been honored by Women in Consumer Electronics (CE) as a recipient of its 2014 Legacy Awards. Sandra, along with three other honorees, was selected as a result of the leadership that they have displayed and their sustained commitment to innovation, growth, and continuous improvement within a broad range of industry areas.

With over twenty years of senior management experience in the digital video and interactive multimedia industries, Sandra has worked in product management, applications engineering, marketing, and sales, as well as software development and content production on the Web, Blu-ray Disc, DVD, and CD-ROM titles. In her current role at THX, she heads app technology development on mobile and smart device platforms.



Her recent accomplishments at THX include this year's launch of the THX tune-up app which received huge international user response.

Sandra holds a graduate degree in Communications and Technology from New York University, and attended the Electrical Engineering program at New Jersey Institute of Technology. In addition, she holds a technical certification from the Institute of Audio Research and an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Ramapo College. She is often invited to speak about new technologies and products at industry conferences and events.


Sandra, along with the other Women in CE honorees, will be recognized at a reception during the 2014 CES (News - Alert) in Las Vegas.
