IRN to Launch the Central Asia and Caspian Oil & Gas Security 2014 Forum(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) (PRWEB UK) 6 January 2014 The CACOGS 2014 Forum will take place on the 8th and 9th April 2014 in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku and will address a range of issues including counter-terrorism, theft prevention, pipeline and infrastructure protection, relations with the local community, maritime security and cyber security within the oil and gas industry in the wider Central Asia and Caspian region. Many Central Asian and Caspian countries are blessed with a wealth of natural resources, and though secure compared to many other oil rich nations, there are a number of specific security challenges that have to be addressed by international and national oil companies operating in the area. The proceedings will be opened by the Ministry of Energy of the host country, Azerbaijan, and delegates will then hear presentations and case studies from a number of security experts from oil and gas companies active in the region.
