The state-of-the-art network offers customers a unique experience and helps them enjoy real-time video, media streaming and downloading at exceptional speed. Announcing the launch of 4G LTE services, VIVA CEO Ulaiyan Al Wetaid said, "The launch of 4G LTE network is one of our biggest achievements, aimed at providing our customers the best broadband experience possible." "Viva was the first to introduce a 42Mbps HSPA+ network making it the fastest mobile broadband for home, business and mobile users alike. We have taken our time to launch 4G LTE to ensure that the quality of our network, the offer and above all, the customer experience, exceeds the exemplary performance already offered by our 3G+ network." VIVA customers can take advantage of 4G LTE services for free from January 6 until the end of February, 2014 after which the service is available as an add on for just BD5. For business customers, the 4G LTE service will be available with a highly- flexible Quality of Service ( QoS) feature. It will offer advanced bandwidth on an efficient and reliable network for users with a super high-speed experience that can be accessed even during peak usage times.
