Initially, the two men only sold maternity and baby products that they had purchased online from the US. Starting in June of 2012, they started offering pediatric cough suppressant syrup and children's flu medicine imported from the US. The two were arrested in October of 2013 by the police because none of the medications had been inspected or certified by China's drug authorities.
