Christos Richards Joins Catalyst Advisors as Partner, Stephen J. Williams Elected Partner as Firm Strengthens West Coast Presence

Catalyst Advisors, a leading boutique search firm specializing in recruiting board members and senior leadership for innovative healthcare and bioscience companies, announced that Christos Richards has joined the firm as a partner and executive recruiter, bringing a team with him for a seamless transition. In addition, Stephen J. Williams, Ph.D., has also been named a partner of the firm. The new partnership is the first initiative in Catalyst Advisors' 2014 expansion strategy, which will further deepen the firm's market reach and strengthen its position as the premier executive recruiting provider in the healthcare and bioscience industries.

Christos joins Catalyst Advisors from Levin & Company, where he was CEO. He spent the past 15 years there leading a team of nearly 20 consultants across five offices, serving healthcare clients across North America and Europe.

Earlier in his career, Christos spent nearly 10 years as chief executie officer of an integrated full-service human resources consulting group providing both executive search and contract executives for biotech and technology companies. He also managed the San Diego office and served as North American technology practice leader for a multinational executive search firm.

Before beginning his career in the executive search industry more than 15 years ago, Steve held a variety of biopharmaceutical roles, including leading pre-clinical development at DuPont and DuPont Merck Pharmaceuticals, serving as a medical director in new product planning at Bristol-Myers Squibb, and being a key member of the management team that executed a successful IPO at Progenitor, a biotechnology company.
