ARCADIS appoints Lia Belilos to the position of Global Director Human Resources


(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 14 January 2014 Release date- 13012014 - ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the world's leading natural and built asset design and consultancy firm, announced today that it has appointed Lia Belilos to the position of Global Director Human Resources as per April 1, 2014.



She replaces Tom Haak, who has chosen to pursue new challenges outside ARCADIS. Ms. Belilos main focus will be to ensure the further development of ARCADIS' HR capabilities globally to support our growth ambitions and lead the transformation of the ARCADIS culture to one of enhanced performance and collaboration, in line with the company's recently updated strategy.

Lia Belilos is currently Chief HR Officer at KPN Group and in that role she is responsible for all activities concerning human resources within KPN corporate as well as its group companies. Prior to joining KPN, she worked for Shell as Vice President Human Resources for the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Luxemburg. Before that she spent about 10 years for Shell in Asia. Her last role there was HR Director for Shell in China, where she managed all people aspects for the Shell businesses operating in China as well as the mergers and acquisitions.


Before her move to China she was based in Singapore where she supported the Chemicals and Manufacturing business of Shell as regional HR Director. Ms. Belilos holds a master's degree in Social History from the Rotterdam School of Management and a master's degree in European Studies/Civilization from the University of Reading in the UK.
