As the nation celebrates the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Bayer revisits its Bayer Facts of Science Education XIV survey that explores the dual issues of diversity and underrepresentation in U.S. STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields. In the survey, the nation's female and underrepresented minority chemists and chemical engineers offer their unique insights and recommendations for how the country can successfully attract and retain more women, African-Americans, Hispanics and American Indians in STEM.
