Oracle International Assigned Patent for Storing Row-major Data(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) By Targeted News Service ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 21 -- Oracle International, Redwood Shores, Calif., has been assigned a patent (8,627,006) developed by four co-inventors for a method, device, and computer readable medium "for striping rows of data across logical units of storage with an affinity for columns." The co-inventors are Cetin Ozbutun, Atherton, Calif., Dmitry Potapov, Emerald Hills, Calif., Kirk Bradley, San Francisco, and Juan Loaiza, Woodside, Calif.
