Hands on seminar on telecom engineering in Udupi on Saturday [Mangalore] [Times of India]


(Times of India Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MANGALORE: A seminar on career opportunities in telecom engineering will be conducted at the Nuthana Ravindra Mantapa of MGM College, Udupi, on Saturday from 2pm-5pm.

The seminar has been organized by Sadhguru -Tejas Centre for Telecom Technology, Udupi, a professional institute established by Sadhguru Shikshana Prathishta in Udupi, in collaboration with Tejas Networks, Bangalore, an optical transmission equipment vendor.



The seminar aims at guiding budding engineers on opportunities available in telecom Industries, the importance of the concept of 'being industry ready' and recent technologies in telecom sector.

Resource persons from Tejas Networks, Bangalore, the Telecom Sector Standard Council (TSSC) of India, and the National Skill Development Corporation, Delhi, will address participants.


Fresh engineering graduates, graduates and students of BE, MTech, MSc, MCA, BCA, BSc and diploma courses, principals, professors, training and placement officers, teaching faculty members from engineering, MCA, BCA, BSc, diploma colleges can participate.

The seminar will provide hands-on industry-related training to engineering students and graduates on fibre optic carrier technology, current trends in carrier telephony, and tele-networks and aims at developing them into industry-ready professional engineers in the telecom sector.
