MSA Security Elects Jessica Johnson to Board of Directors [Travel & Leisure Close - Up]
(Travel & Leisure Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MSA Security Chairman George Harvey announced that Jessica Johnson has been appointed to the MSA Board of Directors. As a member of the MSA Board, Johnson will advise on strategic planning and corporate guidance.
According to a release, a security professional, Jessica Johnson is President and a Principal of Johnson Security Bureau, Inc., the oldest minority-owned security guard services company in the State of New York; where she oversees the daily operations and growth and profitability development of the business.
"We are thrilled that Jessica has joined the Board of Directors, and look forward to her insights and guidance on taking MSA to the next level," said MSA Chairman George Harvey. "We are very much a family here at MSA, and the fact that Jessica has her own family- owned security business makes her a natural choice to join our leadership team. We couldn't be happier."

Johnson stepped into her role at Johnson Security after her father became ill in 2008. Prior to joining her family's business, she held sales positions with International Business Machines and most recently with Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals.
The company noted that Johnson has been recognized with a number of business awards, including 2013 Black Enterprise Family Business of the Year Award Recipient; the Competitive Edge MBE Award of Excellence; New York City Women's Chamber of Commerce Woman of Excellence Award, and Network Journal Magazine 40 Under 40 Achievement Award.
