Finavera Grants Stock Options


(Canada Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) VANCOUVER, Jan. 31, 2014 /CNW/ - Finavera Wind Energy Inc. ('Finavera Wind Energy', 'Finavera' or the 'Company') (TSX-V: FVR) announces that its Board of Directors approved the granting of incentive stock options ("Options") under its stock option plan to certain of its directors and employees to acquire up to an aggregate of 2,460,000 common shares ("Common Shares") of the Company.  All of such Options are exercisable for a period of five years at a price of $0.085 per Common Share.



Finavera's stock option plan was approved by shareholders at the Company's AGM and Special Shareholder Meeting on June 14, 2013 and currently limits the issuance of Options to no more than 10% of the outstanding Common Shares.
