Sen. Fischer Introduces Bill to Support Clinical, Health Software Regulation

Deb Fischer, R-Neb., has introduced legislation (S. 2007) to amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to "provide for regulating clinical and health software." The bill was introduced on Feb. 10 and has two co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Angus King, I-Maine, and Marco Rubio, R-Fla.



The legislation was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
