New cyber-shot cameras from Sony [Bizcommunity (South Africa)]


(Bizcommunity (South Africa) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Sony has released several new cyber-shot cameras in its range. These user-friendly point-and-shoot digital cameras are equipped with extended optical zoom, which gives users shooting power to capture still and clear photos at a distance. These will all be available in South Africa from April 2014.



Forget about tricky camera settings: say hello to fabulous photos and HD video without fuss with the four compact new Cyber-shot cameras - DSC-HX60/HX60V and the DSC-WX350 / DSC-W800. The HX60V will be available at a recommended retail of R4999 and the recommended retail of the WX350 will be at R3499. The Cyber-shot W800 compact digital camera will be available at a recommended retail price of R999.

The new H400 Bridge Camera with highest-ever 63x optical zoom offers richly-detailed 20.1 megapixel photos. The zoom stretches from wide angle to super-telephoto, accommodating any conceivable shooting situation. If one is out with friends, Party Mode automatically adjusts sensitivity, exposure and colour for vivid memories. It will be available in South Africa at a recommended retail price of R3499.


The HX400V with 50x optical zoom uses the latest-generation technologies, making framing and focusing a pleasure through the high-contrast electronic viewfinder that offers a crisp, bright view of ones subject. Moreover, with GPS on board, it is easy to retrace one's travels with map views on one's PC, documenting exactly where all the photos and video were taken. It will be available at a recommended retail price of R5999.
