ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 20 -- Raytheon, Waltham, Mass., has been assigned a patent (8,655,091) developed by Ian S. Robinson, Redondo Beach, Calif., and Bradley A. Flanders, Whittier, Calif., for a "basis vector spectral image compression."
