He will be responsible for maximising venue occupancy and yield for conferences held at the facility. He comes with 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

      Alessandro returns after 20 years Intercontinental Phoenicia's Café Mondo welcomes Italian master chef Alessandro Morelli, a native of Pisa in Tuscany. Alessandro returns to Beirut after 20 years and brings with him a wealth of experience gained in his homeland and an extensive international career throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

     Samy returns to Taj Palace Asser Samy rejoins the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai as director of sales and marketing. He was previously associated with the hotel as director of sales. The Egyptian national has worked for 23 years in Dubai's hospitality sector, and is fluent in Arabic, English and French.

      New chef for Monte-Carlo Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat, has appointed Chef Gavin Gleeson as executive chef to oversee the club's fine dining restaurant, Le Deck, the Sea Lounge and Bubbles Bar. Gavin has worked at two Michelin-starred restaurants in London and Dublin, and most recently as the executive chef at Marco Pierre White's Wheelers in Dubai.

     Asatova returns to JumeirahJumeirah Zabeel Saray has appointed Sayyora Asatova as director of sales. With over 15 years of experience in hospitality, Asatova previously worked with the Jumeirah Group at Burj Al Arab as business development manager.
