Jobs boost at electronics firm ; NEWS [South Wales Evening Post (Wales)](South Wales Evening Post (Wales) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SONY has announced plans to create 26 extra jobs at its factory near Bridgend. The Japanese electronics giant makes a range of its own and non Sony products at the site including cameras, medical devices and the Raspberry Pi credit-card sized computer. Economy Minister and Gower AM, Edwina Hart, welcomed the Pencoed jobs boost. She said: "Sony is one of our anchor companies making an important contribution to the Welsh economy in terms of jobs, skills development and investment and their latest expansion is great news."
