BRIEF: Camarillo's Semtech Corp. names new executive vice president [Ventura County Star, Calif. :: ](Ventura County Star (CA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) March 07--Camarillo semiconductor manufacturer Semtech Corp. has named Charles Ammann as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary. Ammann will replace Randall Holliday, who served in all three positions. Holliday is retiring after five years with the company. President and CEO Mohan Maheswaran said Ammann's "business acumen and unique breadth of legal expertise are a great complement for Semtech's diverse business and growth agenda as we continue on our journey to become a billion dollar company." Ammann previously served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of United Online, Inc., and in senior leadership positions including general counsel at TV Guide, Inc., United Video Satellite Group and Flint Industries.
